White Man Obsessed with Civil War Demands Black People "Get Over" Slavery

Little Rock, Arkansas: One would not think Reginald McCormick as a man inclined to forward movement. Donning a Confederate solider hat, an aged musket, and a provocative cut-off t-shirt emblazoned with the words "Civil War 2020: Let's Finish What We Started," McCormick seems to pine for days long gone, where a white man could own a black man.

Surprisingly, though, Mr. McCormick is the type of man who thinks “some people” should stop “harping on old shit.” While sipping 40 year old whisky from an antique Colonial Williamsburg mug, he contemplated the state of the black community in America, concluding that their main obstacle to progress is “being stuck in the past and going on and on and on about slavery and racism.” His solution was simple - to “get the f*&% over it.”

When this reporter suggested McCormick do the same and get rid of his dated Civil War and Confederate paraphernalia, McCormick had said reporter tarred and feathered and left in the town square.
